Eligible businesses located in Western Canada can access government grants and loans to support a wide range of strategic growth projects, including business expansion, capital investment, hiring and training, and research and development.
Through the Agri-Food and Bio-Industrial Innovation Program (ABIP), Alberta-based applicants can receive up to 75% to a maximum of $500,000 to reduce greenhouse gas-emissions by helping to develop new agri-food technology, systems, and/or processes.
Via the International Technology Partnership Program (ITP), eligible applicants can receive up to $250,000 in grant funding towards commercializing a new product.
Via the Industry Commercialization Associate Program (ICAP), eligible applicants can receive up to 75% to a maximum of $120,000 in grant funding towards an associate employee’s salary per year for up to two years.
