OCI – Technology Demonstration Program

Amount of Funding

The OCI Technology Demonstration Program (TDP) provides up to 50% of eligible project costs, to a maximum contribution of $150,000 per applicant.

The program helps Ontario small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) implement digital technologies identified through a completed Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP). Funding supports the adoption of commercially available solutions that improve productivity, operational efficiency, and business competitiveness.

The Technology Demonstration Program is designed to move businesses beyond digital planning and into implementation by reducing the financial risks associated with technology adoption.

Funding amounts are determined based on:

  • Total eligible project costs
  • Scope and complexity of the technology implementation
  • Alignment with the applicant’s completed DMAP
  • Expected business impact and productivity gains
  • Commercial readiness of the selected technology solution

Applicants are responsible for funding the remaining project costs not covered by the program.
