The Museums Assistance Program (MAP) offers support to workers, collections, skills, and more for museums, heritage institutions, and Indigenous communities through six components, including: Reopening Fund for Heritage Organizations, Access to Heritage, Indigenous Heritage, and more.

Funding Amount
Successful applicants may receive up to 75% cost coverage for eligible costs to a maximum amount of $400,000 per project.
Eligible Applicants
Canadian profit, non-profit, indigenous, municipal, and post-secondary organizations may apply if they are associated with the museum or heritage sector. Must employ at least one full-time paid professional staff.
