With the Industrial Facility Track of the Green Industrial Facilities Manufacturing Program (GIFMP), financial assistance is provided to assist industrial facilities in implementing energy efficiency and energy management solutions that will maximize energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and increase competitiveness.

Eligible Activities
- Workforce development training for Energy Management Practitioners;
- Identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and increase business competitiveness through energy assessments and audits;
- In industrial facilities, energy managers identify energy-saving opportunities, build an energy-saving culture, and implement energy management systems;
- Organizations can implement energy management systems to systematically track, analyze, and manage energy, set priorities, and adopt energy-efficient practices that are proven to continuously improve energy efficiency; or
- Energy efficiency retrofits support modifications or upgrades of a facility’s energy-consuming equipment, processes, or infrastructure.
